About: The authority and elegance of Gaglioppo, which are ancient, native grapes of Calabria, form Liber Pater, a tribute to its namesake. Liber Pater was the Italian god of wine and fertility, often associated with the Greek god Dionysus.

Characteristics: This wine is a deep red in colour, with faint purple hues. The aroma is a complex mixture of wild berries, violets and rich spices, along with hints of oak, provided by the barrique ageing process. It’s a full bodied, velvety wine.

Serving Suggestion: Serve at 18°C, alongside beef or other strongly seasoned main dishes. Also pairs well with mature cheeses.

About: From Gaglioppo, the most ancient native grape of Calabria, Mabilia is born, a tribute to a Norman princess who lived in the Cirò area in the 11th century. Gaglioppo grapes tend to produce wines with an intense color, which are quite tannic and tart.

Characteristics: This wine has a brilliant rosé colour, with subtle violet hues. It has a mild, fruity aroma, with clear notes of roses and black cherries. Our Mabilia wine has a fresh, delicate taste, which can be savoured slowly.

Serving Suggestion: Serve at 10°C, alongside white meat, fish, or other savoury dishes, such as a light soup course.

About: Mare Chiaro is a wine created through the vinification of Greco Bianco, an ancient native grape, grown near the Ionian coast. This wine is a tribute to the wonderful coastal town of Cirò, located in the Calabria region of Italy.

Characteristics: This white wine has a crystalline appearance, with a faint amber hue. The aroma is an intense blend of tropical fruit, white flowers, pear and peach. Our Mare Chiaro wine has a fresh, Mediterranean taste, with a hint of salinity.

Serving Suggestion: Serve at 12°C, alongside white meats, raw or grilled fish, or a light pasta dish.

Serving Suggestion: Serve between 10°C and 12°C, as an aperitif or alongside simple starters and fish courses. Also pairs excellently with strawberries.

About: Powerful, elegant and long-lived, Ripe del Falco epitomises the Ippolito family’s long wine making tradition. We select only the best Gaglioppo grapes in the vineyards, handle with care in the winery, and leave to mature. The result is a charming, austere, and intriguing wine.

Characteristics: This wine has a deep ruby colour, with garnet hues, due to the long aging process. It comes with aromas of rose petals, wild berries, licorice, leather, tobacco, and spices. The taste is intense, with warm, savory notes and very fine tannins.

Serving Suggestion: Serve at 18°C, alongside game, braised meat, and mature cheeses. The Ripe del Falco is also ideal as a meditation wine.
